5.0 Installation and Use

5.2 Rear Facing Lap/Shoulder Belt Installation

See section 2.1 for requirements
• Weight is 4 - 40 lbs (1.81 - 18.14 kg).
• Height 1" from top of seatback.
Lap Shoulder belt
1. Extend the flip foot into position and
ensure lock is engaged. To adjust the
angle of the seat lift the recline handle.
Use positions 1-3 for Rear facing
(Fig 24a).
Angling the car seat will keep the
baby's head back and airway open.
2. Make sure vehicle is parked on level ground then, place the car seat
in a rear seating position and ensure vehicle is level.
