Recording methods and
connections
The INPUT jack of this unit can accept
digital signals, analog signals (line output),
and sound signal from the microphone.
According to the source signal and output
jack of the connected unit, make
connections properly as follows.
• Connect the plugs completely.
Digital recording (connecting with the
optical digital output) → A
High quality recording is possible since the
digital source signals from a CD, etc. are
not converted into analog signals.
The playing time and index mark data of the
TOC (Table of contents) are recorded
automatically at the same time. This is
particularly useful when recording a whole
CD.
This unit can record digital signals from
DAT and BS/CS tuners as this unit has a
built-in sampling frequency rate converter.
