REMOVE THE BREATHING TUBE SHROUD AS FOLLOWS:
1. The tie wraps are the removable type. On the lock end, press down on
the lock release below the cut off end of the tie wrap while pulling the
loop open.
2. If desired, the tie wraps may be cut off and replaced with new ones when
the breathing tube shroud is replaced. Cut off tie wraps cannot be re-
used.
ATTACH THE BREATHING TUBE
TO THE PROFLOW 3
Refer to the OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE Instructions for the
PROFLOW 3 for complete details.
Attach the breathing tube to the blower assembly as follows:
1. Inspect the gasket inside of the female end of the breathing tube. Do not
use the respirator with a missing or damaged gasket.
2. If installed, remove the Retaining Ring from the blower assembly. Retain
this Retaining Ring for future use.
KEEP THE RETAINING RING FOR FUTURE USE. SEE BATTERY RE-
PLACEMENT SECTION OF THE PROFLOW 3 INSTRUCTION.
3. Attach the female end of the breathing tube onto the blower assembly by
threading the collar onto the air outlet clockwise until hand tight.
