TERMINATION OF USE
After thorough decontamination, removal of the PROFLOW FH22 Hood and
the PROFLOW 3 respirator must be done in a fresh air environment free of
contamination. To remove the PROFLOW FH22 Hood and terminate respi-
ratory protection, proceed as follows:
1. Exit the area requiring respiratory protection and proceed to de-
contamination if necessary.
2. When decontamination is complete and it is safe to remove the
PROFLOW FH22 Hood and respirator:
a) Loosen the neck cord by pressing the black button inward as you
slide the cord lock away from your chin.
b) Roll up the PROFLOW FH22 Hood starting at the bottom rear and
proceeding up the back of the neck. See FIGURE 10.
c) Remove the head from the head band. See FIGURE 11.
d) Lift the PROFLOW FH22 Hood away from the body keeping it rolled
to contain any residual contamination that might be present. See
FIGURE 12.
