Three modes are available for you to connect your SIP server and TA1610 gateway. We call them SIP Account Mode, VoIP Mode and SPS (Service Provider SIP) Mode. You can choose any one of the 3 modes to connect your SIP server and TA1610. SPS Mode is recommended.

The issue is how to guarantee that packet traffic for a voice or other media connection will not be delayed or dropped due interference from other lower priority traffic. When the network capacity is insufficient, QoS could provide priority to users by setting the value.
