Page 8: Step 1 - Determine Space Between Feet
Instructions – 80070 Step 1 – Determine Space Between Feet **Van only instructions, if mounting on a camper shell, proceed to step 2** • On the roof of the van, determine desired mounting locations. • Measure the distance between forward and rear mounting bolt hole locations and distance between passenger and driver side mounting bolt hole locations. -

Instructions – 80070 Step 2 – Assemble Rack • Place crossbar assemblies along the side channels at approximately the front to rear distance measured in step 1. • Put SEALANT around all swage connections. Bolt the end tubes to the side channels as shown using 1/2"... - Page 10 Instructions – 80070 • Bolt caps to crossbar assemblies using 5/16” x 1” carriage bolts, 5/16” flat washers and 5/16” nyloc nuts. Note: Either orientation of the hardware can be used, but the orientation shown is the easiest to install.

Instructions – 80070 Find vehicle specific feet mounting in the following pages. Step 3A – Transit Connect • Choose the four desired mounting locations from the roof of the van. • Remove the plugs from the roof in ONLY the four desired mounting locations to expose the holes. -

Instructions – 80070 Step 3B – Promaster City • Remove the plugs from the roof in the desired mounting locations to expose the threaded insert. • Place sealant around the exposed holes in the roof under the rubber pieces to prevent water from leaking into the cargo area. -

Instructions – 80070 Step 3C – NV200/City Express • Choose the four desired mounting locations from the roof of the van. • Remove the plugs from the roof in ONLY the four desired mounting locations to expose the holes. • Place sealant around the exposed holes in the roof under the rubber pieces to prevent water from leaking into the cargo area. -
