    Instructions – 80070 Step 1 – Determine Space Between Feet **Van only instructions, if mounting on a camper shell, proceed to step 2** • On the roof of the van, determine desired mounting locations. • Measure the distance between forward and rear mounting bolt hole locations and distance between passenger and driver side mounting bolt hole locations.

  • Page 10 Instructions – 80070 • Bolt caps to crossbar assemblies using 5/16” x 1” carriage bolts, 5/16” flat washers and 5/16” nyloc nuts. Note: Either orientation of the hardware can be used, but the orientation shown is the easiest to install.

    Instructions – 80070 Find vehicle specific feet mounting in the following pages. Step 3A – Transit Connect • Choose the four desired mounting locations from the roof of the van. • Remove the plugs from the roof in ONLY the four desired mounting locations to expose the holes.
