Remove plastic cover on splice island.

(Refer to cable attachment guide) Remove plastic cover on splice island. Guide tubing through channel of the defined tray. Open bend control cover and FACT back lid.
  • Page 2 Route fibers into the splicing tray as shown and check all fibers are routed under the containment lips. Carefully close FACT back lid and bend control cover.
  • Page 3 (SC connector type). For LC connector types, guide 6 patch cords on each bend control (not shown in picture). Open bend control cover and FACT back lid. Correctly guide patch cords through channel on patch island. Install connector on bottom (position 12) and go to the top...
  • Page 4 Repeat everything from point 3.2 till 3.6 Correctly guide overtubing into bend controls. Guide patch cords through channels of bottom tray. Carefully close FACT back lid and bend control cover. Correctly guide patch cords through channel bend control. Guide patch cord through trumpet.
  • Page 5 Routing patch cords on BOTTOM TRAY (Left Side) Open bend control cover and FACT back lid. Guide 3 patch cords in case of SC and 6 patch cords in case of LC on each bend control as shown in the pictures.
  • Page 6 Repeat everything from point 5.1 till 5.6 Guide patch cords through channels of bottom tray. Correctly guide over tubing into bend controls. Carefully close FACT back lid and bend control cover. Correctly guide patch cords through channel bend control. Guide patch cord through trumpet.
