    V. Assembly and adjustments UNPACKING 1. Carefully remove the table saw from the carton. 2. Separate the parts. 3. Lay out all of the parts, and check them against the parts listed below. Examine all of the parts carefully. WARNING: •...

NOTE: The riving knife has two positions: 1) “Up” position for normal operation; 2) “Down” position when not fully cutting through wood e.g.

Assembly and adjustments (continued) To loosen the blade: • Using one open end blade wrench, place the flat open end on the flats on the arbor flange. • Using the other open end blade wrench, place the flat open end on the flats on the blade nut. Holding both wrenches firmly, pull the open end blade wrench on the blade nut forward to the front of the machine.

    VI. Operating instructions WARNING: Do not allow familiarity with tools to make you careless. Remember that a careless fraction of a second is sufficient to inflict severe injury. WARNING: Always wear eye protection that conforms with CSA requirements. Failure to do so could result in objects being thrown into your eyes, resulting in possible serious injury.

If it needs to be further loosened, pull spring-loaded bevel lock lever out and rotate it back to the right. Release bevel locking lever and allow it to seat (lock) in its original position.
