General Information
This section describes the intended use of the product,
the tools and equipment required for the installation of
the product, the system components, and how the RVC
communications network functions.

2.1 Intended Use

Dometic Interact is intended to be used in conjunction
with the existing control and/or monitoring devices
within your RV. It does not replace the actual hardware
controllers for the systems within the RV. It is a display that
sends action signals and commands to various
components (such as load boxes).
The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage in the
following cases:
• Faulty assembly or connection
• Damage to the product resulting from mechanical
influences and excess voltage
• Alterations to the product without express permission
from the manufacturer
• Use for purposes other than those described in the
operating manual
Dometic Corporation reserves the right to modify
appearances and specifications without notice.

2.3 Component Overviews

This section describes the available components for use
with Dometic Interact. Each component used must be
chosen based on the onboard devices that will be
connected to the system and controlled from the
Dometic Interact LCD display. Distribution boards must
be chosen based on the installation method.

requirements. Therefore, the components
outlined in this section may or may not be used.

provided for your specific setup.
