4.2 CONFIGURING THE DHCP SERVER

The following items must be taken into account in the DHCP server configuration:
The number of RFPs to install, with their MAC address
OMM if you are using a PC.
The following DHCP server configuration information must be provided by the network
administrator:
Address ranges defined for the IP DECT service elements
Address leases for these ranges
Defining the address ranges
The address range must be assigned with the following information:
Defining the reservation to be defined for each RFP:
Reservation name
RFP IP address
RFP MAC addresses
The description.
The network administrator must also declare the following options:
Mandatory options for each reservation
Public option code 224: must be defined with OpenMobility.
Public option code 226: must contain the IP address of the equipment (RFP or Linux
server PC) hosting the OMM application that manages the SIP DECT STIMULI
signalling interface with the GSI gateway
Option code 01 (subnet mask).
Option code 03 (Router gateway).
Option code 67 (name of the file downloaded in each RFP): ip_rfp.cnt.
