3.14.2.1 REGISTERING AN OPENPHONE 27
PRELIMINARY OPERATIONS
Check that the handset is not already registered. To cancel the previous registration,
refer to the section "Cancelling the registration of an
handset"
Check that the handset has been declared on the OMM interface (see the section
"Portable Parts").
Check that the registration of the handset is authorised on the OMM interface
(Portable Parts/Registration).

If you start the handset and it displays "No system", this means that is not registered on any
RFP.

Select "Menu" using the right interactive key.

Select "New" using the left interactive key.

The line "Enter PARK" appears. Enter the installation's PARK. Select "Continue".
Note :
The PARK is obligatory and corresponds to the one declared in the OMM interface (15
digits). This code is specific to the System-RFP-PP dialogue.
The message "Please wait" indicates the end of registration.

The line "Enter identification code" appears. Enter the code and press OK to confirm.

The identification code is optional and corresponds to the one declared in the OMM
interface. This code is specific to the RFP-PP dialogue.
The message "Please wait" indicates the end of registration.
8.
At the end of the registration process, the PP screen indicates the name of the system on
which the registration has been made. The portable handset is ready for use.
The handset is seen as "Registered" on the OMM interface. If there is no other handset to
register, disable authorisation on the OMM interface (Portable Parts/Stop).
Note :
The duration of the authorisation to register all the handsets is limited to one hour,
starting from the moment it is activated on the OMM interface.
