lighting system of 4100 hours per year (Germany), a theoretical life of 9.4 years results. It is
therefore recommended in this case to exchange the timer (and consequently also the
battery) after approx. 8 years.
If the timer is operated with a permanent own power supply, as shown in Figure 5 on page
19, the battery is only activated during a power failure. However, this cannot be calculated.
As a self-discharge time of approx. 10 years is expected for a lithium battery, it is
recommended in this case to exchange the timer (and consequently the battery) after 9 years
at the latest.

11.3 Repairs

Only expert personnel of the company AEG Power Solutions may perform repairs made to
the Unit. Only OEM spare parts are allowed to be used. Repairs performed by personnel of
the user require approval of the manufacturer.
