STEP 1: Remove the headlight cowl. Two screws just inside the rear of the cowl hold it in place at the top. Remove these two screws. The bottom of the cowl has two posts which are pushed into rubber sockets. Simply pull the bottom of the cowl out with one hand on each side, just give a firm pull.

STEP 3: Re-install cowl. Pre-install the M6 x 16 screws with flat washers through the front hole of our bracket and the factory bracket. It is easier to do this now rather than after you’ve snapped the cowl back on. Once both screws are set as shown above, snap the cowl back on at the bottom and use the long-arm hex key wrench provided to fasten the inner screws back into the cowl to secure it.

STEP 4: Adjustable Bracket Installation Each of the two tall adjustable brackets snaps into the aluminum spools on the base brackets as shown below. Once the complete system is assembled you will be able to remove the shield and brackets together as one unit. First, use the zip tie provided to gently gather and pull back the brake line and cables on the throttle side as shown below.

Set the front notch of the adjustable bracket into the front spool of our base brackets as shown here. With the front notch slid all the way into the front spool, you will be able to push the rear notch down onto the rear spool.

Lift up on the bottom of the locking tab and rotate it onto the rear spool. If it doesn’t want to lift, push in a bit on the inside of the spring-loaded screw. Make sure the locking tab is fully seated over the spool.
STEP 3: Windshield Installation Once the brackets are installed, the windshield attaches to the front of the brackets with Phillips screws and washers as shown below. Insert all four screws and washers into the four windshield holes as shown before attempting to attach the windshield onto the RoboBrackets.
