1. Be sure to read these instructions thoroughly before opening and installing the Kubota
RTV XG850 soft door kit. The installation is best done when the temperature is 70
degrees F or warmer. The temperature affects the adhesive Velcro, if conditions prevent
installing in warmer weather, store the adhesive Velcro at room temperature prior to
installation.
2. Carefully open the carton and remove the enclosure on a large flat surface that is clean
and free of dirt.
3. Check the parts included in the carton with the parts list shown below:

If any parts are damaged or missing please contact customer service at (606) 845-7439.
Note: Loosening or even removing a previously installed windshield or top will make
installation much easier.
Tools Needed for Installation:
1. Phillips Screwdriver
2. 7/16" wrench or socket
3. ¼" Drill bit and Drill
4. 12mm wrench or socket.

- Page 2 Soft Doors 1. Begin by holding the door up to the frame and attach it using the double-sided Velcro strips sewn onto the edge of the door. Clean the area near each of the double-sided Velcro straps. At each of the double-sided strips take one of the 3" adhesive Velcro strips and adhere it to the inside of the frame.
- Page 3 2. The following image shows the approximate location of each of the 10, 3in Velcro strips that need to be placed on the roll cage. Extras are provided in case some are placed incorrectly during the initial placement.
- Page 4 3. Place the 2in x 7in adhesive backed Velcro strip in the top, front corner of the roll cage. Align the edge of the Velcro with the edge of the steel reinforcing plate. 4. Attach the 3 pieces (2in, 4in, and 12in) of 1in adhesive Velcro to the UTV following the profile of the UTV and the bottom edge of the door.
- Page 5 5. Remove the center door hinge bolt and mount the metal hinge bracket. Be sure to tighten bolt completely. 6. Hold the plate from the D-ring bracket on the door approximately 1in from the bottom of the recessed latch and 3in from the edge of the door and mark the position of both holes. This position is important because if the plate is too close to the edge of the door the mounting bolts will hit the door jam and the door will not close properly.
- Page 6 8. Use the provided clasps to secure the bungee cord along the bottom edge of the door to the front hinge plate and rear D-ring. 9. Check proper fitment around the perimeter of the door, and make any adjustments necessary. The door should have some slack to allow for proper function of the zipper. If the material is pulled too tight the zipper will catch leading to difficulty when opening or closing the door.
