  • Page 6 Installation - continued Technical information (continued) Connecting the mains supply cable The mains terminal block is located on the underside of the cooktop and the terminals are accessible by removing the terminal block cover by removing the cover screw. The cable connections must be in accordance with the diagram located on the bottom of the cooktop. The brass links must be positioned as marked in the appropriate diagram and once established ALL terminal screws must be tightened down firmly.

    How to use the cooktop Control knobs All operations are performed by means of the 4 control knobs that can be found on the right hand side of the cooktop top. The control knobs can be turned either clockwise or anti-clockwise to select a heating level. The numbers / icons around the outside of each control knob indicates the power level that you have set the zone to.

    Maintenance and cleaning Cleaning and maintenance operations must only be carried out when the cooktop is cool and disconnected from the power supply Any residues that are left on the cooktop top surface from cleaning agents will damage it. You should remove any residues with water and a little washing up.

    Important information The appliance may be built-in and connected to the power supply only by a qualified technician. Particular areas of the cooktop surface (adjacent to the hotplates) are hot during operation. Hot oil ignites readily, so be sure have the preparation of such food (fries) under constant control. Hotplates may not be left in operation empty, without any dishes on top.
