Fernbedienung
Über eine RS232-Schnittstelle und Ethernet-Ver-
bindung 100Mbit/s (RJ-45) kann mittels einer geeig-
neten Treibersoftware von einem PC oder einem
anderen Gerät eine Fernbedienung sämtlicher
Monitorfunktionen erfolgen.
Bootzeit und Begrüßungsbildschirm
Die kurze Startzeit (vom Einschalten bis zur Darstel-
lung einer Quelle ohne Eingangssuche) ermöglicht
eine schnelle Reaktion.
Während des Hochfahrens wird das KARL STORZ
Logo angezeigt.
Die Signalerkennungs- und Sperrzeiten sind auf ein
absolutes Minimum beschränkt.
»Sleep« Modus
Nach Ablauf der gewählten Zeitdauer, fällt der Mo-
nitor in den »Sleep« Modus, Display und »Backlight«
werden danach abgeschaltet.
Sobald erneut ein Videosignal am gewählten
Eingang zur Verfügung steht, schaltet der Monitor
wieder ein.
Stand-by-Modus
Durch Berühren der Regelrad-Mitte für mehr als
5 Sekunden schaltet der Monitor in den Stand-
by-Modus. Der Monitor wird bis auf das Regelrad
komplett abgeschaltet. Durch das erneute Betäti-
gen bzw. Berühren der Regelrad-Mitte für mehr als
3 Sekunden schaltet der Monitor wieder ein.
BIOS (Update)
Das BIOS lässt sich durch KARL STORZ autori-
sierte Personen und der entsprechenden Software
mit einem herkömmlichen Notebook über eine
Ethernetverbindung 100Mbit/s (RJ-45) oder RS232
vor Ort aktualisieren.

Die Benutzeroberfl äche umfasst folgende Sprachen:
English, Deutsch, Francais, Italiano,
Svensk, Espanol, Nederlands, Polnisch,
Russisch, Dänisch, Japanisch,
Chinesisch (Mandarin), Koreanisch

Remote Control
An RS232 interface and Ethernet 100Mbit/s
connection (RJ-45) allows remote control of all
functions of the monitor through a suitable driver
software from a PC or other device.
Boot Time & Welcome Screen
The short startup time (from power on to display of
a source without input search) is optimized for fast
response.
During the startup time the KARL STORZ logo is
displayed.
Signal detect and lock times are kept to the
absolute minimum.
Sleep Mode
After the selected period of time has elapsed, the
monitor switches to Sleep mode, then the display
and backlight are switched off.
As soon as a video signal is available at the
selected input again, the monitor switches back on.
Stand-by Mode
Pressing the center of the control wheel for more
than 5 seconds switches the monitor to Stand-by
mode. The monitor is completely switched off, with
the exception of the control wheel. Pressing or
touching the center of the control wheel for more
than 3 seconds again switches the monitor back on.
BIOS (Update)
The BIOS can be updated on site by persons
authorized by KARL STORZ and the relevant
software using a conventional notebook with an
Ethernet 100Mbit/s connection (RJ-45) or RS232.

The following languages are supported in the user
interface:
English, German, French, Italian, Swedish, Spanish,
Dutch, Polish, Russian, Danish, Japanese, Chinese
(Mandarin), Korean

Control remoto
Utilizando una interfaz RS232 y una conexión a
Ethernet 100Mbit/s (RJ-45), puede efectuarse el
control remoto de todas las funciones del monitor
desde un PC o desde otro aparato equipado con
software de controlador apropiado.
Duración de arranque y pantalla de bienvenida
El tiempo de arranque (desde que se enciende has-
ta que aparece una fuente sin búsqueda de entrada)
es muy breve, permitiendo una reacción rápida.
Al arrancar el equipo se muestra el logotipo de
KARL STORZ.
Los tiempos de reconocimiento de señal y de
bloqueo están limitados al mínimo absoluto.
Modo "Sleep"
Una vez transcurrido el periodo de tiempo
seleccionado, el monitor pasa al modo de
suspensión ("Sleep"); después la pantalla y la
retroiluminación ("Backlight") se apagan.
En cuanto se dispone nuevamente de una señal de
vídeo en la entrada seleccionada, el monitor vuelve
a encenderse.
Modo Standby
Pulsando el centro de la ruedecilla de ajuste du-
rante más de 5 segundos, el monitor pasa al modo
Standby. El monitor se apagará por completo, con
excepción de la ruedecilla de ajuste. Accione o
pulse de nuevo la ruedecilla de ajuste durante más
de 3 segundos para encender el monitor otra vez.
BIOS (actualización)
El BIOS puede ser actualizado in situ por el
personal autorizado por KARL STORZ y con el
software adecuado por medio de un ordenador
portátil convencional conectado a una red Ethernet
de 100 Mbit/s (RJ-45) o RS232.

La superfi cie de usuario se encuentra disponible en
