Follow the safety and usage instructions to

ensure the proper state and operation of the
device.
Correct operation is only guaranteed if the
•
measuring wires are intact. Do not use the
device if the measuring wires appear to be
defective. In case of damage replace them
immediately.
Never ground yourself when measuring
•
electricity. Do not touch any metal pipes,
objects or parts that might be grounded.
To ensure insulation from the ground, use
insulating dry clothes, rubber-sole shoes or
floor mats or other insulating materials.
Always disconnect the power source from the
•
circuit before modifying it (soldering parts,
etc.). Even weak currents might be dangerous.
Be careful when measuring above 60V DC or
•
30V AC! These voltages may cause electric
shock!
When using the measuring prope, make sure
•
that your fingers do not touch its metal parts
and are always behind the finger protector.
To protect yourself and the device never
•
exceed the maximal inward values. Exceeding
these values may damage the device and the
user may experience an electric shock while
measuring.
