The new MP series of Maxwell instruments strengthens
the category of compact devices. In addition to its basic
functions, it is equipped with a work light function,
backlight and non-contact voltage detection. Its durable
device housing ensures problem-free use in all conditions.
The measurement results can be easily and quickly read
from the large display. With the help of the sensor on the
top of the device, you can detect voltage without breaking
the wiring. Its features include the ergonomic device
housing, compact size and easy handling.

• Before use, make sure that all accessories are in the
package and undamaged. The meter is designed in
accordance with IEC61010 (a safety standard issued
by the International Electrotechnical Commission or
equivalent GB4793.1). Please read the safety notes
before use.
When using the device, the user must pay attention to
the following safety regulations:
• Protect yourself from electric shock!
• Protect the device from damage caused by improper use!
• Before using the accessories supplied with the device
(measuring cord, measuring probe), check whether they
are in good condition! Never use damaged test leads!
• If you use the device next to a device that generates
a source of interference, expect that the measurement
may show incorrect results or nothing will appear on
the display.
• Use the device only for the purposes specified in the
user manual! Incorrect operation does not guarantee the
continued correct operation of the product.
• Never use the device near explosive or flammable
gases or dusts!
• Before measuring, check the device to ensure that it is in
the correct measuring position and that the measuring
leads are connected properly. Do this before each
measurement!
• If the measurement result is not known, always start
measuring in the largest measuring range and then work
backwards.
• To protect the device, never exceed the maximum
input values!
• Be careful when measuring above 60 V direct or
30 V alternating voltage! These voltages can cause
electric shock.
• When using a probe, make sure that your fingers do not
touch the metal surface of the probe and always place it
behind the finger guard.
• When changing measurement modes or levels, remove
the test leads from the test object or circuit.
• When measuring resistance, continuity or diode, always
make sure that the meter is not connected to a live circuit
and that all high-capacity capacitors are discharged.
• Before measuring current, before connecting the device
to the circuit, de-energize it.
• Replace the battery when the low battery voltage icon
appears on the display.
• Always remove the test leads from the circuit and the
multimeter before opening the device.
• If you experience any abnormal behavior during
operation, stop the measurement and turn off the device.
• If you do not use the device for a long time, remove the
battery from it and do not store it in a place with high
temperature or high humidity.
• To avoid fire and other damage, always replace the fuse
with the same parameter: F 200 mA / 250 V, F 10 A / 250 V.
• Never use the device if the rear battery compartment
cover is open or not properly attached to its place!
