8.2 Projector Management using SNMP

The SNMP Simple Network Management Protocol) enables to manage the
projector information, which is a failure or warning status, from the computer on
the network.
NOTE
It is recommended that SNMP functions are executed by a network
administrator.
SNMP management software must be installed on the computer to monitor
the projector ia SNMP.
Standard MIB (MIB-2)
You can refer to the following items de ned in system group of Standard MI
MI -2).

Enhanced MIB
You can get con guration information by using Enhanced MI for projectors.
Enhanced MI for projectors can be downloaded from [Port Settings] page in
Projector Web Control.

When an error or warning occurs in the projector, a noti cation can be sent to the
speci ed address.
In addition to e-mail alert shown in 8.1 E-mail Alerts
noti cation can be sent.
