Manual discharge of non-condensing gases

A
?
NOTICE!
The manual discharge of non-condensing gases may only be carried
out during the initial power-on on a given day. When the device is put
into operation, the internal pressures and temperatures change. This
makes the procedure described in this chapter too inaccurate.
1. Calibrate the pressure sensor so that the correct values are
displayed (see chapter "Calibrating the pressure transducer" on
page 45).
✓ After switching on, the device measures the internal tank pressure
and then shows it in the display:
If you transfer the indicated pressure to the scale of the pressure
gauge of the device, you can read the corresponding temperature.
Example
The pressure gauge shows 7.6 bar (7600 mbar). The corresponding
temperature is approximately 34 °C.
If the actual ambient temperature is only 20 °C, the pressure on the scale
should only be approximately 4.7 bar. The measured pressure deviates
approximately 2 bar from the normal pressure.
The reason for this is usually that non-condensing gases (for example,
air) have entered the internal tank. This can happen, for example, during
service on a leaking air conditioner.
