2. Operation Procedure

2-5 Collating Operations

It is possible to perform only collating opera-
tion with SPF-10II idle.
Set operation mode select switch of SPF-10II
to "Jog" or "Pass" position and install con-
veyor at the lower position. Neither criss-
cross or offset receiving operation cannot be
performed.
NOTE :
Criss-cross receiving tray or stacker receiving
tray can be used behind SPF-10II.
(1) Turn operation mode select switch to
"Pass" or "Jog" position.
(2) Set delivery guide according to sheet width
by providing 5 mm clearance between
sheet edge and side guide.
(3) Turn folding end stopper adjusting knob
fully counterclockwise and turn stopper
ON/OFF knob to "OFF" position.
(4) Press motor "ON" button and start collat-
ing. Now SPF-10II must be idle so that
collated sheets pass through SPF-10II
without stitching or folding.

NOTE
- Turn operation mode select switch to "Jog"
position to deliver sheets after they are jogged
with side and front joggers. Although sheets
are neatly jogged, operation speed will be
reduced.
- Install sub-delivery rollers A and B when
handing sheets smaller than A4 size. Hook
notches of sub-delivery roller A on hook bar,
and notches of sub-delivery roller B on shaft
of smooth roller respectively.
