2-6 Operation Procedure

(1) Turn motor of SPF-10II on.
(2) Feed a set of collated sheets into stitching
section of SPF-10II by pressing "MEMO-
RIZING SHEET CALIPER (MEMORY)"
button of collator.
NOTE
When sheets are fed by MEMORY button,
SPF-10II will not function.
(3) A booklet is finished by pressing single
stitching button.
(4) Operate system by pressing start button of
collator with collating interval being set to
the longest range by turning "COL. IN-
TERVAL" knob of collator fully counter-
clockwise. Shorten collating interval and
adjust end stopper open time to increase
the production speed.
NOTE
Set up collating interval of collator and end
stopper open time so that end stopper is
closed and collated sheets hit stitching end
stopper at the same time.
(5) Check finishing result once in a while
during operation .
(6) Press "Stop Collating" button on SPF-10II
when stopping operation. Otherwise, there
will be a chance that a set of sheets may be
left in SPF-10II.
