5. Error Detectors and Automatic Stop Motion

5-1 Error Detectors and Automatic Stop Motion
In case any machine trouble or operational
fault has occurred, machine will stop auto-
matically.
(1) SPF-10II can not be started if collator is
involved in some operation error. Refer to
operation manual of collator.
(2) Press motor "ON" button of SPF-10II and
collator can be started. In case main motor
of SPF-10II is not running, "Full Tray"
lamp of collator will come on.
(3) If misfeed or double sheet feed happens to
collator, the error display of collator comes
on with collator stopped automatically.
The erroneous set of sheets is not stitched
by SPF-10II.
(4) If a machine trouble or operational error
happens at some place between stitching
and folding sections, "Jam" lamp comes
on, and SPF-10II and collator will stop
automatically.
(5) If a trouble happens in the optional equip-
ment at the end of SPF-10II such as FC-
10II, connectors CNC and CNS, SPF-10II
and collator will stop automatically.
(6) If safety covers are left open, machine can
not be started. Further, if any safety cover
or covers are lifted to open during opera-
tion, machine will stop automatically.
CAUTION
Do not access your hands and fingers
to any moving parts under the safety
covers.
