Handling and manner of use 4.1. Stoking Before ignition, open the air intake regulators. Ignition is performed with paper and chopped wood.
- Page 4 Ignite the paper and leave the door half-open, so that the sealing pigtail will not stick to the stove paint. The paint completely hardens even after few hours of heating. During the first hours of operation, due to pain hardening, an unpleasant smell might be created in the rooms where stoking is performed.
- Page 5 The draft strength depends on the following variables: - on the flue regularity, - on the atmospheric conditions (season), - on the regularity of the stove and other heating elements connected to the flue, - on the position of the house in the environment (whether it is on a hill, plain or valley). If draft in the flue is insufficient, then this can lead to poor combustion and creation of smoke on the glass.
