Oxygen alarm
The oxygen alarm sounds when:

Acknowledge the alarm by pressing Change/Reset. The alarm sounds every 10
seconds until O
To deal with O
Pressure: wait for readings to stabilise.
Humidity: no action required. The effect is gradual, over a period of hours.
Temperature: zero the Orion in the new temperature.
Toxic gas alarm
The toxic gas alarm sounds when:
CO concentration reaches 30 ppm,

Acknowledge the alarm by pressing Change/Reset. The alarm sounds every 10
seconds until gas concentrations drop below the alarm concentration.
STEL and TWA alarms sound when toxic gas concentrations averaged over time
reach STEL or TWA levels. See
A.2: 'Time Weighted Average', on page
Acknowledge the alarm by pressing Change/Reset.

Battery condition and alarm

Full battery life is 10 hours (non-alarming). Battery condition is indicated by the
battery icon.
Segments within the icon disappear as battery life is used up. Each segment
represents 25% of battery life. When 20 minutes of nominal battery life remains, the
Orion will alarm and the battery icon will flash. Acknowledge the alarm by pressing
Change/Reset.
