cannot be accessed
even when
a password
is entered.
The settings have
returned to their
previous
configuration.
Cannot save a set

(Continued )
Cause
The Web browser is using
a proxy server.
The password is incorrect.
(The interface indicates that
the password is incorrect).
You cannot access the Web
interface using the entered
password.
The Apply button was not
clicked after configuration.
The user box is blank on the
Network Password page.
A login prompt will appear even
if no password has been set
(this is normal).
Solution
You can only access the Web interface
if the proxy settings are configured
properly.
If you are using Windows Internet
Explorer 6: On the Tools menu, click
Internet Options. Click the Connection
tab and then click LAN Settings. Then
clear the Use a proxy server for your
LAN check box.
The password is case sensitive. Make
sure that the case is correct for every
letter.
A problem may arise if the Web
browser is set to automatically enter
a password and username when
connecting. Delete the username and
then enter the password again, or close
the browser before accessing the Web
interface again.
Enter the administrator password.
Be sure to save settings made on the Web
interface by clicking the Apply button.
Settings will not be saved if the Apply
button is not clicked.
Some Web browsers do not let you
save a password without also saving
a username. Enter a username.
Log in as "administrator" and leave the
password blank. And click OK.
