For the O
Turn the flow control valve clockwise until the flow rate will not drop any
further. (If the machine has been modified to eliminate the minimum flow
feature, turn the valve until the flow rate is zero.)
For the other gas flow control valves:
Set the oxygen flow rate to four liters per minute.
Turn the other gas flow control valve clockwise until the flow rate is zero.

Place the knob on the flow control valve shaft and turn it clockwise until it
engages the stop pin. Tighten one of the knob setscrews.

Turn the knob in both directions and ensure that the flow can be controlled
over its entire range. When the valve is closed, the knob should be against
the clockwise stop. Tighten the remaining set screw.

If the knob label is not horizontal when the valve is closed, remove the label
and install a new label in the correct position.

Perform the PMC Procedure given in Section 6.
