INSPECTION • Do not use or permit use of any equipment that is damaged, or has worn or broken parts. For all Trojan equipment use only replacement parts supplied by Trojan. • Always make sure that all nuts and bolts are tightened prior to each use.

ASSEMBLY STEPS 1. PREPARATION • Before assembling make sure that you will have enough space around the item. • Use the supplied parts and hardware for the assembly. • Before assembling, please check whether all the required parts have been supplied as per the exploded drawing on the opposite page.

ASSEMBLY STEPS STEP 2 STEP 2: CONNECTING THE WIRES Connect the Mid-sensor Wire 1 (49) to the Mid-sensor Wire 2 (38). Connect the Tension Wire (52) to the Tension Wire (51). Slide the Upright Post (26) onto the Main Frame (45) and tighten with 4 Screws (M8 x 16 mm) (32) and 4 Curved Washers (Ø8 x Ø20 x R30 x 2 mm) (31).

ASSEMBLY STEPS STEP 3 STEP 3: UPRIGHT POST ASSEMBLY Insert the Swing Rod Post (16 L, 16 R) onto each swing axis of the Upright Post (26), and tighten with a Bolt (M8 x 16 mm) (14), Spring Washer (Ø8) (4) and Washer (Ø8 x Ø32 x 2 mm) (12), then cover the end with a Ball Cap (S13) (13) on both the left and right side.

ASSEMBLY STEPS STEP 4 STEP 4: PEDAL ASSEMBLY Attach the Pedal Rod Post (20 L, 20 R) on each crank axis with a Nylon Nut (M10 x 1.25 mm) (39) and a Washer (Ø10 x Ø32 x 2 mm) (41), then tighten. Cover the end with a Ball Cap (S16) (40) on both the left and right side. Tighten each Swing Rod Post (16 L, 16 R) with a Bolt (M8 x 75 mm) (19), a Washer (Ø8 x Ø16 x 1.5 mm) (18) and a Nylon Nut (M8) (21) and tighten.

ASSEMBLY STEPS STEP 5 STEP 5: HANDLEBAR ASSEMBLY Attach the Pedal (36 L, 36 R) on each Pedal Rod Post (20 L, 20 R) with a Bolt (M8 x 45 mm) (35), a Nylon Nut (M8) (21) and a Washer (Ø8 x Ø16 x 1.5 mm) (18). Insert the Handlebar (9 R, 9 L) onto each Swing Rod Post (16 R, 16 R) with a Square Neck Bolt (M8 x 43 mm) (10).

ASSEMBLY STEPS STEP 6 STEP 6: CONSOLE ASSEMBLY Attach the Mid-handlebar Post (34) on the Upright Post (26) with 2 Screws (M8 x 30 mm) (5) and 2 Spring Washers (Ø8) (4), through the Cover (6). Connect the Mid-sensor Wire 1 (49) to the Console Wire on the Console (50) and attach the Console (50) to the Upright Post (26) with 2 Screws (M5 x 10) (23).

CONSOLE FUNCTIONS ▼ DISTANCE: Press MODE button until “ ” appears on DISTANCE. At this setting the distance travelled from the beginning of the exercise will be displayed. ▼ CALORIE: Press MODE button until “ ” appears on CAL. At this setting the total calories burnt from the start of the exercise wn:h be displayed.
EXERCISE INSTRUCTIONS Using your Trojan Pulse 260 Elliptical Trainer provides you with several benefits, it will improve your physical fitness, tone muscle and in conjunction with a calorie controlled diet, help you lose weight. THE WARM UP PHASE This stage helps get the blood flowing around the body and the muscles working properly. It will also reduce the risk of cramp and muscle injury.

MUSCLE TONING To tone muscle while on your The Trojan Pulse 260 Elliptical Trainer you will need to have the resistance set quite high. This will put more strain on your body muscles and may mean you cannot train for as long as you would like.
MAINTENANCE CLEANING The Trojan Pulse 260 Elliptical Trainer can be cleaned with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Do not use abrasives or solvents on plastic parts. Please wipe your perspiration off the Trojan Pulse 260 Elliptical Trainer after each use.
Always consult your physician before beginning any exercise program. MUSCLE CHART The exercise routine that is performed on the Trojan Pulse 260 Elliptical Trainer will develop the whole body muscle group as well as condition the circulatory system and provide a good aerobic workout. These muscle groups are highlighted on the muscle chart below.
CONDITIONING GUIDELINES How you begin your exercise program depends on your physical condition. If you have been inactive for several years, or are severely overweight, you must start slowly and increase your time on the equipment, a few minutes per workout. Initially, you may be able to exercise only for a few minutes in your target zone, however, your aerobic fitness will improve over the next 6 to 8 weeks.
WARM UP & COOL DOWN WORKOUT GUIDELINES Each workout should include the following 3 parts: 1. A WARM-UP: 5 to 10 minutes of stretching and light exercise. A proper warm-up increases your body temperature, heart rate, and circulation in preparation for exercise. 2.
