5.6 Set PIN

You can add a 4-digit PIN to lock certain device functions.
> Open the "Settings" menu, select "System" and press

NOTICE
Impacts of using a PIN
Entering and confirming the PIN will lock ALL configured measurements options. You can still con-
figure the system settings. You will also still be able to add or edit jobs.
The PIN can be reset in the QN9 software or by entering it again.

5.7 Set Date/Time

The format for the date and time is YYYY-MM-DD-hh-mm.
> Open the "Settings" menu, select "System" and press

5.8 Configure Softkey

The softkey can be programmed to two functions, "Calibrate" and "Advance area".
> Open the "Settings" menu, select "System" and press

5.9 Format Memory

CAUTION
Format Memory
The "Format memory" function will erase all jobs, areas, measurements, all user settings, all lan-
guages except German/English, and the QN9 software on the device.
> Open the "Settings" menu, select "System" and press
> Select "Format memory"
A confirmation message will appear. If you actually want to reformat the memory, confirm the
message.
If an error occurs, repeat the formatting process. If you are still unable to format the memory,
please contact your retailer.
