NOTICE
Measurement results
During calibration use the uncoated original substrate for the most accurate measurements.
NOTICE
Error of measurement
Rough surfaces or dirt can cause errors of measurement.
Calibration methods
Zeroing
For zero point calibration, simply place the probe on the uncoated original
substrate. This calibration is ideal for smooth surfaces.
1-point
For 1-point calibration, select a suitable reference film close to the expectancy
range and a smooth, uncoated original substrate.
2-point
For 2-point calibration, select two reference films of different thicknesses
which also include the expectancy range and a smooth, uncoated original
substrate.
Custom
Here you can customise your calibration method.
Setting calibration parameters
In the "Calibration" menu you can set the following parameters prior to calibration:
>
Open the "Calibration" menu
>
Under "Settings", select the calibration based on the job or the limit set
>
If necessary, adjust the parameters
