This manual describes how to install the user software for the DocuColor Color
Server
and set up printing from Macintosh and Windows computers. For
information on setting up network servers and clients to use the DocuColor, see the
Administrator Guide. For general information on using the color copier, your
computer, your application software, or your network, see the manuals that
accompany those products.

About the media pack

Your DocuColor includes a media pack containing:
• User Software CD—printer drivers and files you can install directly onto Macintosh
and Windows computers, plus utilities for Windows computers
• Documentation set

About the documentation

This manual is part of a set, which also includes the following manuals for users and
system administrators:
• The User Guide describes how to set printing options and print to the DocuColor.
This manual describes how to use the software installed from the CD. It includes
sections on printing from Macintosh and Windows computers and UNIX
workstations.
• The Administrator Guide explains basic configuration and administration of the
DocuColor for the supported platforms and network environments. It also includes
guidelines for setting up UNIX, Windows NT, and NetWare servers to provide
PostScript printing services to clients.
• Release Notes provide last-minute product information and workarounds for some of
the problems you may encounter.
