Troubleshooting

This section provides some suggestions in case you encounter problems while installing
and setting up software.
On a Macintosh computer
Installing Macintosh PostScript Printer Driver
If the Printer Driver cannot autoselect the printer file, when prompted, open the
System Folder:Extensions:Printer Descriptions
corresponds to your copier.

On a Windows computer

Setting up IPX (Novell) printing for Windows NT Workstation
Install the Apple LaserWriter IIg before you attempt to "add a printer" for the
DocuColor.
Installing Adobe PostScript Printer Driver
If you are re-installing the Adobe PostScript Printer Driver, you must delete any
previous versions and related files from DOS before you can successfully install the
driver. See the Adobe README file included with the Printer Driver for instructions.
Problems with Windows and IPX/SPX
If you are using Windows 95, make sure that SPX/IPX and TCP/IP networking protocols
are both enabled.
See "Completing the Windows 95 IPX/SPX or IPX (Novell) connection" on page 27
for information.
Make sure that either the NET_WIPX.DLL(Windows 95) or NET_WSCK.DLL
(Windows NT) file is in the SYSTEM directory.
Make sure that only one file is installed in this directory and that it is the correct file for
your system.
