Only for GEMÜ fi tting types. Input the inside diameter of
the piping. The calibrated values are forecast by the GEMÜ

12.4.2 Carry out the calibration

The GEMÜ 3030 mFlow fl owmeter is calibrated
at the factory. On-site calibration is not normally
required and should only be carried out to
compensate for installation-related discrepancies
resulting from the use of a weld-in sleeve. This
enables the lower accuracy of the fl owmeter to be
compensated for when using a weld-in sleeve.
CalPointQty:
Input the number of calibration points that are calibrated for
each measuring range.
The more points that are calibrated for each measuring range,
the more precise the accuracy of the fl owmeter.
Cal Reset:
Deletes all points that have already been calibrated.
The specifi cations for the individual calibration points
(ValueRange3 and 4) are reset to the default setting.
ValueRange4/ValueRange3:
Input the calibration point for the respective measuring range.
The calibration point can be freely set. It must, however, be
within the respective measuring range.
CalRange4/CalRange3:
Calibrate the calibration points set in ValueRange3 and 4.
CalZero
Calibrate the zero point (0 fl ow)
In addition to the calibration points for the individual measuring
ranges, the zero point must be calibrated once.

Calculate:
Calculate the non-calibrated measuring ranges.
If all measuring ranges are not calibrated, there is an option
to calibrate the remaining measuring ranges based on the
calibrated points of the calibrated measuring ranges.
Calibration sequence:
1. Specify the number of calibration points per measuring
range (currently only one possible) (CalPointQty).
2. Call up the calibration menu (GoCalibration).
3. Delete the previous calibration (Cal Reset).
4. Confi rm Reset Cal Info with Ok.
5. Calibrate individual measuring ranges:
When calibrating the measuring ranges, the largest should
be taken fi rst (measuring range 4).
If it is not possible to calibrate a measuring range, this can
be left out.
However, at least one of the two possible measuring
ranges (measuring range 3 or measuring range 4) must be
calibrated.
• In the ValueRange4 menu item, set the desired
calibration point.
(The calibration point must be within measuring range
4. At the factory, the end value of the measuring range is
specified as a suggestion. The calibration point should
be selected as high as possible).
• Specify continuous flow in accordance with the set
value.
• Confirm the set calibration point in the CalRange4
menu.
• Wait until the bar display has finished.
• Set the required calibration point in the ValueRange3
menu item.
(The calibration point must be within measuring range
3. At the factory, the end value of the measuring range is
specified as a suggestion. The calibration point should
be selected as high as possible).
• Specify continuous flow in accordance with the set
value.
• Confirm the set calibration point in the CalRange3
menu.
• Wait until the bar display has finished.
6. Calibrate zero point:
• Ensure that there is no medium in the line (0 flow).
• Confirm the zero point in the CalZero menu.
• Wait until the bar display has finished.
7. Calculate missing calibration values:
(If not all measuring ranges have been calibrated, the "Cal-
culate" menu item can be used to calculate the non-calib-
rated measuring ranges based on the available calibrated
values.)
The calibration points are marked diff erently
depending on the status:
Calibrated value: ф
Calculated value (not calibrated): #
If there is no identifi cation available, a Cal Reset
is carried out.
