  • Page 2 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Place the vehicle in “PARK” and turn the key to “OFF” position. Remove the key from the vehicle. 2. Unlatch the tailgate and disconnect the retaining cables. Remove the tailgate by opening the tailgate so that it is about 2” from the closed and latched position, then lifting up on the left (driver’s) side of the tailgate to disconnect it from the pivot.
