Your POLARIS ® PRO HD 3500 WINCH KIT is exclusively designed for your vehicle. Please read the installation instructions thoroughly before beginning. Installation is easier if the vehicle is clean and free of debris. For your safety, and to ensure a satisfactory installation, perform all installation steps correctly in the sequence shown. -

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS PREPARATION 4. Rotate two latches and open the front storage bin cover 1. Shift vehicle transmission into “PARK”. Turn key to “OFF” position and remove from vehicle. 2. Remove the seat by pushing and holding the seat adjuster lever down. -

5. Remove the front storage bin and cover 7. On ACE 900 XC models, remove four screws removing two screws and six push pin rivets holding the empty winch bracket , as seen in the figure below, from the vehicle and remove winch bracket for use in the next step. -

GEAR SELECTION • See the illustration below for proper wireless remote operation. WARNING Attempting to shift the winch while the rope is under tension is dangerous and can result in injuries or death. Make sure the winch rope is not in tension before shifting the winch between gears. - Page 9 RAPID RECOVERY WINCH FUNCTION To shift into high gear, rotate the gear shifting knob clockwise until the “H” marking shows thru the cutout NOTE window on the shift knob. TROUBLESHOOTING If your winch/Autostop is not functioning properly, below is a short guide that can help you diagnose and correct the problem.
