Important: Ensure that the engine oil, engine oil
storage containers, and engine oil filling equipment are
free of sediments and water.
1. Place the machine on a flat, level surface, and stop the
engine.
2. Allow the engine to cool.
3. Clean around the dipstick.
4. Remove the dipstick and wipe the end clean

3. Fill port
5. Slide the dipstick fully into the fill port without
threading it into the port
6. Remove the dipstick and look at the end. If the engine
oil level is below the halfway point on the hatchmarks,
slowly pour only enough oil into the fill port to raise
the level to the halfway point on the dipstick.
7. Install and secure the dipstick
