Operation and Maintenance

When transporting the unit, fully extend the
cylinders and place cylinder lockouts in the
transport lock position. Insert the lockout pins to
secure the cylinder lockouts. Failure to lockout
the cylinders may cause the unit to settle during
transport, resulting in serious personal injury or
death, and damage to the equipment.
To prevent accidental lowering, all hydraulically
elevated equipment must be locked out using the
cylinder lockouts or lowered to the ground, when
servicing or when equipment is idle. Failure to
take preventive measures against accidental
lowering can result in serious personal injury.
Whenever transporting farm implements on
public roads, it is the responsibility of the
operator to abide by state and local laws
concerning wide loads, speed, safety emblems,
and safety lighting equipment. Drive at safe
speeds, particularly when rounding corners,
crossing rough ground, on hillsides, to prevent
tipping.
