The operators cannot gain access to any moving parts, as the FINDER only works with
the two fully closed mobile safety guards. Both safety guards are piloted by an electric
motor with a potentiometer, which, by means of a pressure transducer, ensures closure
and thus gives authorisation to start.
If the closure of the safety guards is not detected, the FINDER cannot be started.
There are no power circuits and all circuits are control circuits. These circuits do not
therefore require any protection.
There is no fire-protection system on the machine or in the rooms where the device is
installed and no particular precautions are necessary, apart from those required by
current legislation, since the risk of fire is a residual risk.
The installation of the device must be carried out in a suitable area which is capable of
allowing normal operation and ordinary and extraordinary maintenance operations. It
is therefore necessary to allow enough operating space for any maintenance operations
so as not to compromise the safety of the technicians assigned to the installation or
maintenance.
