9. Tighten the blade pin screw.
10. Install the fixed wire blade as described previously.
11. Remove any grease from the wire cutting area of the blades.

9.3. Fixed Carrier Chop Blade Replacement

1. Remove the two fixed carrier chop blade screws. Set the scrap guide aside.
2. Remove the fixed carrier chop blade. See Figure 15.
3. Install the new fixed carrier chop blade. Be sure the cutting edge is back toward the movable carrier shop
blade.
4. Place the scrap guide in place and install the two screws.
5. Make sure the side of the fixed blade is aligned with the housing and tighten the two screws completely.

9.4. Movable Carrier Chop Blade Replacement

1. Remove the fixed wire blade.
2. Remove the movable wire blade.
3. Remove the four M4 side block screws. See Figure 15.
4. Remove the two M6 air cylinder screws.
5. Loosen the three screws that secure the top plate.
6. Lift the side block off the assembly.
7. Remove the lever by lifting away from the assembly.
8. Remove the movable carrier chop blade by lifting it from the assembly.
9. Apply general purpose grease to the pin on the new movable carrier chop blade and also to the sliding
surfaces.
