Installing Cables

UPS Cable Connection Reference
•
Prepare cables away from the cabinets to prevent scraps from falling inside. Cable scraps may
ignite and cause personal injury or device damage.
•
After cables have been installed, clean the cabinet in a timely manner. Ensure that there is no
foreign matter inside and around the cabinet.
•
You need to prepare terminals onsite. The length of the stripped copper wire should be the
same as that of the part of the terminal that covers the conductor.
The cabling route is for reference only. Connect cables based on site requirements.
3.2
Installing UPS Cables
1. Open the front door, and remove the
front cover from the power distribution
subrack.
NOTE
The cover can be removed only when the maintenance bypass switch is OFF.
2. Remove the cable tray cover for the signal
cable, and remove a certain number of small
covers from the cabinet bottom based on site
requirements.
