V1501WM Wall Mounting Adapter or the V1502CA Ceiling Mounting Adapter, respectively. The VM61514-5-MM is used to mount the VM614-3 and VM615-5 monitors. The VM621-5-MM is designed for the VM621-5 monitor. The monitor mounts include all the hardware required for installation.
Installation Unpacking and Inspection All Vicon equipment is tested and inspected before leaving the factory. It is the carrier’s responsibility to deliver the equipment in the same condition as it left the factory. Inspect the cartons upon delivery and, if damage is present, make detailed notes on the carrier’s bill. Then obtain the carrier’s agent signature and file a damage claim as soon as possible.

Installing the V1501WM The V1501WM is required for wall mounting the monitor mounts. Be sure the area behind the wall of the selected location is clear of obstacles such as steel beams, headers, pipes, electrical wiring, etc. that would interfere with the installation. To mount the V1501WM, proceed as follows. 1.

Installing the V1502CA The V1502CA is required for mounting the monitor mounts to the ceiling. Be sure the area directly above the selected location is clear of obstacles such as steel beams, headers, pipes, electrical wiring, etc. that would interfere with the installation. The V1502CA consists of a flanged ceiling attachment and a mount coupling. Both of these pieces are threaded with 1-1/2-inch tapered pipe thread.

Installing the Monitor Mounts The monitor mounting U-channels are taped to the sides or bottom of the unit for shipping. Remove the channels. Perform the following procedure. Refer to Figure 3. 1. Turn the monitor over on a clean work space. 2.

7. Adjust the width of the monitor mount by slightly loosening the top mount bolts and sliding the side arms out far enough to accommodate the monitor. Do not retighten at this time. 8. To adjust the vertical opening, unscrew one of the pivot blocks (Figure 4) and remove the outer pivot block half.

Shipping Instructions Use the following procedure when returning a unit to the factory: 1. Call or write Vicon for a Return Authorization (R.A.) at one of the locations listed below. Record the name of the Vicon employee who issued the R.A.
