Important:
The screwed unions of the oxygen pipes
must be tightened only by hand.

2. Wet all the screwed unions with the so-
lution. If bubbles form, this indicates a
leak.
3. Release the pressure in the system:
Close the oxygen cylinder valve. Briefly
switch on the connected device until the
contents gage
off the connected device.
4. If there is a leak, remove the faulty seals
and replace them with new ones (see
"9.3 Replacing sealing ring " page 44).
5. Then check for leaks again.
6. If the leak cannot be rectified, the unit
must be repaired.
7.3 Checking for leaks
in the safety valve
1. Slowly open the valve on the oxygen
cylinder.
2. Set variable or multistep pressure redu-
cers to the maximum flow.
3. Check with your finger whether oxygen is
escaping at the safety valve
If oxygen is escaping, you must have the
pressure reducer repaired by the manu-
facturer (Weinmann) or by a trained and
expert authorized dealer.
