5.2 Air Jack System

► With the 911 GT3 Cup MR Gen.II, the standard position of the air jack system in the trunk area is
relocated within the front of the trunk area using a modified bracket. The air jack system is expan-
ded by an additional lifting cylinder. From the bulkhead to the passenger compartment, the system
corresponds to the 911 GT3 Cup Gen.II.
High risk of injury! No one may be in the danger zone. All persons ent-

rusted with work on the vehicle must receive safety training in hand-
ling the air jack system.
Never work under the raised vehicle without securing it against unin-
WARNING
tentional lowering. It must always be secured with the standard air
jacks supports!
In order to avoid damage to the end stops of the air jacks, never let the
ATTENTION
air jacks extend freely at full operating pressure (without vehicle load).
Never open the air jacks! Due to their layout, the jacks are under pres-
ATTENTION
sure even when retracted. If a lifting cylinder is opened, the manufac-
turer (Krontec Maschinenbau GmbH) must carry out a service.
The maximum permitted pressure of 35 bar must not be exceeded.
ATTENTION
Connections and air jacks can be damaged.
All four crown nuts for fastening the air jacks in their mounts must be
checked and, if necessary, retightened before every race weekend and
before every endurance race.
