7. Hinged back-rest

Hinged back-rests are used to reduce the wheelchair back-rest
height during transport operation.
The mounting height of the joints may vary due to
configuration choices.
Hinged back-rest can be height adjusted as shown in Par.3.10.
Hinged back-rest cannot be assembled with lateral supports nor stretched bar.
In case of stair-lift use, the Hinged back-rest does not guarantee the safety of the user. Please contact your dealer or OFF
CARR s.r.l.
Be careful to assure the correct backrest engagement when facing steps or slope.

8. Small wheel for narrow passages with lever

Small wheels for narrow passages with lever are devices
that facilitate the lifting of the wheelchair to be able to
pull out the rear wheels and to reduce the footprint of the
wheelchair.
They can be activated by the attendant or, in some cases,
by the user himself.
Be careful that when in use the pommel is properly engaged.
To turn off the wheels, pull up the pommel and then turn down the lever.
Small wheels for narrow passages with lever are incompatible with some rear wheel configuration.
Small wheels for narrow passages with lever are incompatible with unbalancing pedals and anti-tip devices.
Small wheels for narrow passages with lever are incompatible with curved rear frame.
