13. Abductor

If necessary, the wheelchair can be equipped with an abductor.
To assemble the abductor:
•
assemble on the wheelchair frame tube the holder;
•
loosen without removing the set socket screw of the holding bar;
•
assemble the holding bar by inserting the guide into the holder (pay attention to the pommel) and fix the set socket screws;
•
insert the abductor sliding support into its guide and fix it with the wing screw.
Removing only the abductor is possible by acting on the wing screw, in this case the holding bar stays assembled on the
wheelchair that cannot be folded.
To fold the wheelchair is necessary remove the abductor and its holding bar:
•
pull the pommel;
•
take off the abductor and the holding bar.
The sliding support is available in different size according to the desired distance between the seat and the abductor.
