6. Double pushrim single drive setup
The wheelchair can be configured with double pushrim single drive setup.
Double pushrim single drive setup is made up by a wheel which, together with the normal pushrim, has a second smaller
diameter pushrim. This second pushrim, through a connection shaft, allows the rotation to be transferred to the opposite wheel
(without pushrim).
Connection shaft insertion:
•
open the wheelchair;
•
make sure that the rear wheels are properly insert into rear plate bush (see. par. 2.4);
•
seat the user on the wheelchair;
•
connect the shaft with the rear wheel quick releasing axle, paying particular attention that the toothed terminals are properly
connected;
•
move around the wheelchair with the user to allow any wheelchair width adjustments;
•
fix the wing screw.
