Firmware Updates

This is for firmware updates for the 2019 touchscreen models of the TR3000i, TR4000i, and TR5500i.

If you are unsure of what treadmill version you have, please give us a call at 801-973-9993 opt. 4.

Step By Step Instructions

Make sure the safety key is in place. Turn the treadmill on using the main

power button located at the front end of the treadmill by the power cord.

Press the Bluetooth icon located in the upper right-hand corner

of the home screen. Then turn the Bluetooth on the speaker on.

Page 2 Step By Step Instructions Step 5 Write down the four digit BT Audio ID displayed on the screen. You will need this number later. Once you’ve written the number down, return to the home screen. Step 6 Turn the treadmill off using the main power button as used in Step 3. Step 7 Open the small compartment located on the back of the treadmill console.
Page 3 Step 9 Once again, turn the treadmill back on using the main power button. In a second or two, you should now see the LifeSpan logo on the console screen followed by an upload screen. This screen will be black with white text.
Page 4 Step By Step Instructions Step 13 Verify that the correct treadmill model number is highlighted in red and press the Reboot button in the upper left-hand corner of the screen. Step 14 Once you see a black screen that reads “Please shut down the device and restart”, restart the treadmill by turning off and on the main power switch once more.
