AP 5.4 Dispenser

1. Insert the label web, as described further
above (section Inserting Roll Material
page 6).
2. Pull the labels off the backing paper over a
stretch of 30 cm from the end of the web
(fig. 1).
3. Press the red button (1) at the dispensing
edge to release the dispensing roll (fig. 1).
4. Take off the dispensing roll, feed the label
web through as illustrated (fig. 1) and
press the roll back between its bearings.
5. Thread the backing paper backwards to
the rewinder (2) as illustrated (fig. 2).
6. Fix the end of the backing paper web using
the clip (3).
7. Turn the rewinder counter clockwise, until
the backing paper is pulled tight.
After switching the printer on, the rewinder
rotates slowly, until the material web is pul-
led tight (fig. 3).
Possibly, the status message
Status
Rewinder mat. tear
appears, before the web is pulled tight.
If this happens, press the online button to
acknowledge the message (if necessary
several times).
