h) Checking the Drive and Steering Function

Before every trip you should check that the transmitter settings are correct and whether the vehicle reacts appropriately
to control commands.
The control buttons and the programming of the transmitter are described in Chapters 11 and 12.
As described in Chapter 9. f), the vehicle should be placed on a suitable box or similar stand to allow the
wheels to turn freely.

i) Attaching and Fastening the Car Body

Guide the tube of the antenna from underneath the car body through the hole intended for that purpose. If no opening
is present, use an appropriate tool to make the hole in the right place.
Now put the car body on the holders and fasten the vehicle panelling with the holding brackets removed at the start.
Your car is now ready for its first test run!

j) Steering the Vehicle

• The vehicle is moved forwards and backwards using the forwards/backwards lever (see figure 1, pos. 10).
• The dial (see figure 1, pos. 11) serves to control steering.
• With the switching button (see figure 3) on the bottom of the handle switches the
steering function.
Both the front and rear axles can be steered. Four different steering modes (figure
4) make this vehicle very manoeuvrable - despite the principally locked axles (no
differential in rear or back axle, as otherwise no decent forward drive would be
possible).
