e) Turning the Transmitter On

Always turn the transmitter on before connecting the rechargeable battery pack with the drive control unit.
If required, check the voltage in the LC display to see whether the inserted rechargeable batteries/batteries are still
fully charged.

f) Connecting the Rechargeable Battery Pack to the Drive Control Unit

Prior to connecting the rechargeable pack to the drive control unit, activate the remote control transmitter (see chapter
9. d) and 9. e).
To prevent a sudden starting of the wheels and therefore an uncontrolled starting of the model (e.g. if
the trimming for the drive is maladjusted), place the model vehicle on a suitable box or similar, so that
the wheels can turn freely.
Switch off the drive control unit (position "0"). The switch is
marked by a circle in the figure.
Now connect the rechargeable battery pack to the drive
control unit.

g) Switching the Drive Control Unit On

Activate the remote control transmitter first (see chapter 9. d) and 9. e), if you haven't done so already!
Then switch on the drive control unit (position "I").
